But during his recovery his life falls apart.
About the Author
E. Bruce Bushong
Born in Tulsa, E. Bruce Bushong finished grade school and high school in Shawnee, OK. He attended the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bach. of Acct., and he went on to attend law school at OU, where he earned top 10% and Law Review honors.
He began to practice law in Dallas, then twenty years ago, tragedy struck. Bruce, a single father, lost the two sons he was raising in a fiery car accident. Bruce kept only the 1982 Datsun 280 ZX sports car that he and his sons had rebuilt. He went home to Shawnee, OK, where he got certified to teach English. He recently retired, having taught for 18 years. During this time, he reconnected with a girl he dated in high school. They have been married for 19 years now. Bruce has two surviving sons. One lives in Boston, and the other in Montana.
Bruce has two more novels that will be out soon, Fatherman Down and The Golden Harvest, which is the first in a memoir trilogy. The Bar Fly, with its unique perspective through the eyes of a housefly, is almost finished. There is also a prequel and a sequel to Critical Mass in the works. There is much more to come, so stay tuned.
